Grateful: My First Thanksgiving in Miami

I know nothing about the American way of celebrating Thanksgiving and this is my very first one here in the US. But I know that, unfortunately, not everyone who works hard becomes successful. I know that for many the cards are dealt unfairly and that their dreams will always remain dreams, because they are at a disadvantage from day one. I don't know why I was chosen to be as lucky as I am, but I sure do know that I will keep fighting for my dream as lonely and as hard as it sometimes is, because I know the opportunities that are given to me are a blessing and I will never ever take any of them for granted. I'm just a small girl from a small village who is blessed to be given a chance in this big world. And for that I want to give thanks. THANK YOU to everyone who has been a part of my journey, for having my back or for putting stones in my way, because both have gotten me this far!
