Found my Faber-Castell Polychromos pencil set in a box here in Germany and felt like a kid on Christmas eve. I can't believe that I haven't used them in 3 years, because I've been busy with acrylic painting all this time.
Those of you who know Polychromos pencils know they're an absolute dream to work with. They're oil based, can be easily combined with watercolour or markers and the colours are so rich and vibrant and come in 120 different shades.
Anyhow, *this isn't an ad*, and I'm not getting paid to praise them. I bought them myself a couple of years ago. I just wanted to share how I've fallen in love with them again today and crave to draw some detailed stuff in the next few weeks.
